The Olympics are available for the first-time ever in 3D and they're the most widely distributed program ever to be made available on the format with over 300 hours of it to ultimately be broadcast. So if you have a 3D-enabled TV, now might be the time to see what it can do,
Says Panasonic Chief Technology Officer Eisuke Tsuyuzaki, "The 3D broadcasts are primarily shown on next-day delay, not because of a technology issue but to make the programming experience the best for viewers."
